twink69 said: OK SERIOUSLY Kylie Minogue's dancing (is it really dancing) is hilarious!!
How is it hilarious? She just dances around, she's not trying to be a top-notch gymnast. It's more about just being a woman and expressing that to the music - and that she does really well. As opposed to any b-class American teenage hoochie seen on your favourite video channels. and her singing ,I have seen her sing "in to my arms" by nick cave live, it was just plain comedy!
Yeah. It's always very convincing to voice such an opinion when you have seen somebody sing. Chico1 said: OK. Someone's going to be looking for those tissues right now...

Chico1 said: KYLIE RELEASES THE DOUBLE CD 'ULTIMATE KYLIE', THE ONLY GREATEST HITS COLLECTION TO SPAN HER WHOLE CAREER, ON PARLOPHONE ON NOVEMBER 15. THE BRAND NEW SINGLE, 'I BELIEVE IN YOU', CO-WRITTEN BY KYLIE AND JAKE SHEARS AND BABYDADDY FROM THE SCISSOR SISTERS, IS RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 29. TWO NEW TRACKS FEATURE ON 'ULTIMATE KYLIE', WHICH FEATURES 33 TRACKS IN TOTAL. Kylie Minogue, one of the top selling female artists in the world, releases 'Ultimate Kylie', the only comprehensive collection of her greatest hits from 1987 to the present day, on Parlophone on November 15. The two CD set, the only one to feature each of her 31 hit singles, also includes two brand new tracks, one of which, 'I Believe In You', Kylie wrote and recorded with Jake Shears and Babydaddy from the Scissor Sisters. This stunning collaboration will be released as Kylie’s new single on November 29. Since 'The Loco Motion' became her first Australian No 1 in 1987, Kylie has been a record breaker. When 'I Should Be So Lucky', her first UK single, became No 1 in March 1988, it entered the record books as the first single in over 10 years to stay at No 1 for five weeks. She has been breaking records ever since. The statistics speak for themselves, and could fill pages: in essence, she has broken records in every decade of her career – most recently, 2001’s classic No 1 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head' marked Kylie’s 5th top 10 single since the beginning of 2000, making her the most successful female singles artist of the millennium. 'Ultimate Kylie' features; 31 INTERNATIONAL TOP 40 HITS 7 UK NO 1 SINGLES 25 UK TOP 10 SINGLES Her total single sales worldwide are estimated at a staggering 20 million copies, whilst album sales easily take her record sales worldwide to over 40 million. Suffice to say that in 1991, industry bible 'Music Week' declared that, in the history of the British charts, Kylie was the only act to have their first 13 releases go Top 10, a feat that The Beatles, Elvis, Madonna and Michael Jackson had not achieved. The track listing for 'Ultimate Kylie' is: CD1 I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY GOT TO BE CERTAIN THE LOCO-MOTION JE NE SAIS PAS POURQUOI ESPECIALLY FOR YOU(duet with Jason Donovan) HAND ON YOUR HEART WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING NEVER TOO LATE TEARS ON MY PILLOW BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW STEP BACK IN TIME WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO? SHOCKED GIVE ME JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME CELEBRATION CD2 CONFIDE IN ME PUT YOURSELF IN MY PLACE WHERE THE WILD ROSES GROW (with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) DID IT AGAIN BREATHE SPINNING AROUND ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS KIDS (with Robbie Williams) PLEASE STAY CAN’T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD IN YOUR EYES LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT COME INTO MY WORLD SLOW RED BLOODED WOMAN CHOCOLATE GIVING YOU UP * I BELIEVE IN YOU * * Brand new tracks Of this consummate collection of pop classics, Kylie says; "Since my first hit, I can’t believe how quickly time has passed. This collection is very dear to me and holds a lifetime of memories. There is nothing like time to give you a sense of perspective and I hope the listener gets as much enjoyment out of these tracks as I do. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experiment throughout the years and that my fans have embraced the need in me to try new approaches. I am just as excited about the new tracks featured here as I am about all the others on the record. At this point in my career, I am happy to celebrate the past and look forward to the future." 'ULTIMATE KYLIE' IS RELEASED ON PARLOPHONE ON NOVEMBER 15. from Kylie.com A few other singles/hits left off this collection no surprise ...but I'm still getting it! Queen of Pop edit! [Edited 9/23/04 20:29pm] What do you see as the glaring ommission from the album? I always liked the singles "Word Is Out" and "Some Kind of Bliss" (actually, I'm not 100% sure if "Some Kind of Bliss" was a single but I liked it and it appears on one or all of the various verisons "Hits+") and neither of those are there.

I am a Kylie fan. Wasn't back in the 80's-90's, but then i heard her sing "Dancing Queen" at the Olympics a few years ago, and i thought-WOW! you can actually TELL she CAN sing! ( sometimes these pop songs are very talk-singy) but she really belted that night and did a fantastic job, ever the showgirl. I wish she would do more work that would showcase her abilities. Although, i do happen to like some of her last album's songs....
