KYLIE RELEASES THE DOUBLE CD 'ULTIMATE KYLIE', THE ONLY GREATEST HITS COLLECTION TO SPAN HER WHOLE CAREER, ON PARLOPHONE ON NOVEMBER 15.

THE BRAND NEW SINGLE, 'I BELIEVE IN YOU', CO-WRITTEN BY KYLIE AND JAKE SHEARS AND BABYDADDY FROM THE SCISSOR SISTERS, IS RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 29.

TWO NEW TRACKS FEATURE ON 'ULTIMATE KYLIE', WHICH FEATURES 33 TRACKS IN TOTAL.

Kylie Minogue, one of the top selling female artists in the world, releases 'Ultimate Kylie', the only comprehensive collection of her greatest hits from 1987 to the present day, on Parlophone on November 15.

The two CD set, the only one to feature each of her 31 hit singles, also includes two brand new tracks, one of which, 'I Believe In You', Kylie wrote and recorded with Jake Shears and Babydaddy from the Scissor Sisters. This stunning collaboration will be released as Kylie’s new single on November 29.

Since 'The Loco Motion' became her first Australian No 1 in 1987, Kylie has been a record breaker. When 'I Should Be So Lucky', her first UK single, became No 1 in March 1988, it entered the record books as the first single in over 10 years to stay at No 1 for five weeks. She has been breaking records ever since. The statistics speak for themselves, and could fill pages: in essence, she has broken records in every decade of her career – most recently, 2001’s classic No 1 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head' marked Kylie’s 5th top 10 single since the beginning of 2000, making her the most successful female singles artist of the millennium. Suffice to say that in 1991, industry bible 'Music Week' declared that, in the history of the British charts, Kylie was the only act to have their first 13 releases go Top 10, a feat that The Beatles, Elvis, Madonna and Michael Jackson had not achieved.

Cheers Chico thanks for posting. I'm most definately going 2 purchase this latest GH from Kylie. I own all her album releases and dance remix CD's as well, she rocks hardcore. Though not liked by all, it's matter of opinion really. IMO if ppl stopped 2 listen for a moment instead of comparing her 2 others then their opinions wouldn't be so biased....

Actually Cher has the record for having the most greatest hits compilations.
It seems like she releases a new album the right after she incorporates the hits on that album into a greatest hits compilation

I'd disagree. While Cher probably has the most greatest hits out there, I don't think she makes an effort to release a new collection after every album. Yes, the album titled "Greatest Hits" from or around '99 included the "Believe" hits but that was an import (although priced very well for American buyers). With a few expectations, very few of them look like Cher approved them (although GH and TVOBC are probably Cher approved).
