ALERT: Will & Grace (JANET special guest tonight!) To all who may read these letters, Greetings: MY JANET FAMILY, all the Funky Velveteers in the struggle, PEACE AND MUCH VELVET BLESSINGS!
I have glorious news to report. Janet... the Janet Jackson herself will be on tonight's premiere episode of Will & Grace (Thurs. Sept. 23rd in the U.S.) on NBC. Be sure to watch it, set your VCRs or get that TiVo together 'cause it's sure to be an episode not to be missed. Also, tonight on Access Hollywood they are going to behind the scenes of the episode. After the episode, we'll talk about it here. Have a wonderfully Velvet day! Here's a sneak peak of the episode. (Thanks to that fabulous DJGoDeep2 of the Janet-Xone for hookin' it up yet again!) That's cool, i'll have to catch it. Janet should be good cause she has acting experience.
So we've had everyone, Elton, Cher (2wice), Madonna, Michael Douglas etc Im waiting for Michael Jackson to make his guest appearance.

I can't wait for this show even though "Will And Grace" stopped being funny a few years ago. Jan, what do you think of the new Janet DVD. I bought it a few days ago but haven't had a chance to watch much of it.

Well, I don't have the new Janet DVD right now. I might buy it later. Where'd you get it? Meijer? (Man, now that's one store I haven't been to in a longgg time LOL). . [Edited 9/23/04 13:02pm]

SOMEhow, she's 38. Don't ask me how. She's obviously aged, but she's done it gracefully and without disfiguring plastic surgery like LaToya. HOT!

[Edited 9/23/04 13:02pm] Yes, actually. It was $15.99 (only one dollar more than Best Buy but it didn't matter and Best Buy only had the Jewel case, that I saw). It was the Ann-Arbor Saline Meijer. They only had one copy. You shop at the Ypsi one, right? JanFan, are you orginally from LA? [Edited 9/23/04 13:58pm]

I used to shop at the Ann Arbor-Saline Meijer all the time when I was in college. I've since graduated.

VoicesCarry said: Janet is looking scrumdillicious! Tatalalicious. LOL. I love her eyes in that one photograph with Jack -- so misty! Here's a Janet factoid for you: The guy in the background in the second picture with the sleveless red-orange sweatshirt was the same guy silthering on the wall in the "All Nite (Don't Stop)" video. I'm pretty sure we're gonna see some more of the kids in this episode. Can't wait! [Edited 9/23/04 14:13pm]

Janet does look good here, not like she did at the Teen Choice awards or whatever it was called. She really let herself go there. But here she looks good. Not all overly aerobicized like she's prone to be. This is more the size Janet really is. Latoya still looks good though no surgery be damned.

Did you see Latoya at the World Music Awards?

Hmmm? I wonder where she came up with that idea.

Did you see Latoya at the World Music Awards? Yeah. I meant "surgery be damned" in that post. Of course LaToya is the new Mrs. Frankenstien but her body looked good for someone approaching 50 (that is right?). Janet I like better this way. Not "When I think of You" big but more "Poetic Justice".

Please. Will and Grace asks everyone and their mother to guest on their show, the only really good one being Minnie Driver, who's practically a supporting character now.

Not "When I think of You" big but more "Poetic Justice". Speaking of "When I Think Of You," I swear, at times Jill Scott looks like Janet in WITOY when she smiles. Watch "When I Think Of You" and "Golden" and they have some facial similarities.

I love the little jokes Madonna made about her self....

i wish janet was on the show just a little bit more...it seemed kind of skimpy to me. but that's because i'm a big ol' pig bottom when it comes to janet damita jo jackson! i just can't get enough of her!!!
too bad will and grace just isn't funny anymore...what happened to the writers?

Did anyone else see it and think it was terribly overrated? It was just a lame story, not that funny and they didn't give Janet much to do. I wouldn't be shocked if "Will And Grace" quitely goes off the air soon if they don't get funny again. But compared to "Joey", it was gold. Sitcoms just ain't what they used to be.

OK, I just watched it (pretty late I know, I'm out here on the west coast), I wish they would've shown more of Janet. The dance-off between Jack and that other guy was pretty lame. Janet looked really pretty and she told about maybe 1 or 2 funny jokes tops (that's all they wrote in the script for her). They should've gotten rid of the skit with Grace being sad over her divorce and more Janet!
"The Pleasure Principle" is still bumpin'! Overall, W&G is blah (I don't watch it anyway)... I give them 2 points for including Janet. But other than that the general show was YAWN material.

if this were 1998, and both Will & Grace and Janet interested me in the slightest, i might tune in.
but it's been many a moon since those stars were in alignment.... "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

That was a big disappointment. The story line was lame. Not even Karen had many funny lines
It's too bad. I actually thought they used J-lo quite well. And the season premier with all the Kaballah jokes cracked my ass up. Tonite's show was just plain blah though.

The only really funny joke was
"there's not one person in this room who hasn't had anonymous sex to her music."
