yeah, I dig the album. Actually, I dig The Cure. My favorite album of their's though is "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me" album. That double album is so good from top to bottom. But yeah, "Disintegration" is cool too.

Indeed. Their best album as a whole. One of the world's few perfect double albums.

It definitely fits right alongside "Sign O The Times" with its eclectic, impressionistic and colorful feel.

I always thought Prince and The Cure had a lot in common even though they're musically far apart.

I think "KissMe, Kiss Me, Kiss Me" is my favorite album of theirs as well. It's hard to choose between the two though. nod

ooh, "trilogy" is wonderful. i don't have the time to watch it as much as i'd like...i really wish i knew how to transfer the audio to CD, i'd listen to those suckers all the time. such wonderful performances...! nod

I should be able to walk you through that, PM me about it.

Just got Disintegration today at lunch. I have the single of "Pictures of You" on Galore, and I can say that Disintegration is in serious need of remastering. So far, a beautiful album (I already know the singles).

'The Head On The Door' was my first Cure album that I bought when I was in high school. It took me a very long time to get into it (it sounded nothing like Prince, LOL), but it's my favorite Cure album. Disintegration might be #2.

I love that song too. They opened the show with it in Chicago and the audience was just spellbound. You know how people always ask scenarios regarding a deserted island? The sound of that song is like being there, but having everything you need and loving it.

In the show of Barcelona from "The dream tour" they did it also!!! it was magic, because it was not a song I expected to hear live never!!!! In fact, that night almost of all the songs were a nice surprise, because they didn't play many old singles!!!
