Rolling Stones "Time Waits for Noone"

The guitar solo on this song and Mick's vocal almost brings me to tears sometimes. It' such a heartfelt song..

A few more calmer, gentler Stones tunes.

As Tears Go By
Play With Fire
Good Times, Bad Times
No Expectations
Love In Vain
Wild Horses
Sister Morphine
Let It Loose
Coming Down Again
Fool To Cry

I love Ron Wood, big fan of the Faces, but it would have been cool if Mick Taylor had stuck around for a few more albums.

And maybe if Wood had never joined the Stones Rod Stewart wouldn't have sucked so bad for the last 30 years.

What would have really been interesting is if Rod Stewart and Ron Wood had been able to hold it together with Jeff Beck.

True, but I think the Faces were much better than the early Jeff Beck Group. Beck is a terrific guitarist, but not much of a songwriter. And Ron Wood would have been stuck playing bass. I just think the Faces burnt out too quickly. I wonder how different things would have ended up if the Jeff Beck Group had played Woodstock. Surely they would have made it big in the U.S. and Stewart may never have gone solo. I guess we'll never know.
