How the mighty have fallen--Boyz II Men

I couldn't even find their latest CD , "Throwback". It's not in the Billboard top 50 pop albums or even on the R&B/Hip Hop charts....man, it just seems like yesterday they were throwing out #1 singles like butta..and they stayed on the charts for months. I know one of them is sick and didn't record on this cd...I haven't seen a group fall this hard this fast since Hootie and the Blowfish and En Vogue
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

Well,in my opinion,it probably wasn't a good idea to try to launch a "comeback" with a covers album. And shame on them for even attempting to remake classic songs like MJ's "Human Nature".Their new covers CD is pointless.Another problem for them is that, the boy-band era seems to be over, plus the fact that these guys are in their mid-30s.It'll be interesting to see how well New Edition does with their attempt at a comeback.

I would have loved to hear something new from them. I practically studied them back in '91-94. I hope this was their idea and that they're being fulfilled artistically, rather than just following the advice of a few suits.

Cyndi Lauper is another artist who recently attempted a comeback with a covers album.I don't think she had too much success with it.
