Dont know why, but its one of my favorites off the album.. i cant believe it.. i was so anti flawless when i got this cd... My friend kept telling me he had heard it before. I had no idea it used a sample from another song. I also noticed the rich produduction on this album to. It also has a few of the Madonna "American Life" elements here and there....but he does it as a finishing touch where as the sound used is the basis for her songs (i.e. Cars and trains/mother and father). Did anyone else notice the American Life touches? Christian Zombie Vampires

[Edited 9/20/04 0:44am] Dont wanna say I told u so but..... I told ya so! Patience gets my vote - the other are great albums, but just a little TOO ballad heavy in my opinion - Patience strikes the best balance for the first time in his career in that respect. Fantastic lyrics, really rich and detailed production, and im still discovering new aspects 2 this gem. Songs From The Last Century came a close second, with Listen Without Predjudice coming 3rd...

I love all of his cd's, but if I had to pick one that I thought was his best I would go with Listen Without Prejudice because every song is great and Waiting for the Day is one of my top 10 favourite songs ever!!! Older is next, then Faith and last but not least, Patience.

[Edited 9/20/04 0:44am] Oh man, the production on Patience is, in a word, Flawless. As far as best album, I can't listen to any of his albums without skipping a few tracks, regardless of how genius "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime" and "Too Funky" are, so ... I'll go with Five Live. When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Regardless of the day, I'm glad you were born.
