"That's Where you'll Find Me" - Deja - Ol' jam of the day

b4 eye go 2 work, i wanted 2 put a old skoo jam out.

Produced by Monte Moir ( I was surprised when finding that out), this song is elegant bliss over a soulful stop and go beat. I never heard it until my friend played the video with a string of other songs.

The video is even nice with her and her partner in a big rainforest in the rain an wind.

Does any1 remember this song, or heard it? The album aint that bad either. Deja - Serious.

Great song! For some reason I always thought Teddy Riley produced this. Very cool to hear that it was Monte Moir.

Great track -- one of my favorites!

Not only did Monte produce the track, O'Nicholas Raths played 12-string guitar. Raths is credited with similar guitar stylings on a number of 80's Jam & Lewis productions.

I would'nt consider them One Hit Wonder's. The duo used to go under the name "Aurra" and had the hit song "Are You Single"? They also used to be in the group Slave (Just A Touch Of Love, Slide, Watching You etc.). Starleana (the female in the group) released a solo Cd years ago and also married James J.T. Taylor (lead singer of Kool and the Gang). I'm not sure if they're still married or not. That's Where You'll Find Me was played on radio and video stations 24/7 when it was released.

Then, a new female singer came aboard (I think her name was Misty Day) - she was hot - and they released an album produced by Teddy Riley. I remember the first single - there was a video for it - "We were meant (or made) to be together". The music was similar to that Whitney/Bobby duet, "We've got (or have, I forget) something in common".
