Well, Cyndi and the folks from LIPPS Inc. had some hate rolling their way in Round 2 , but it was the duo from the UK Tears for Fears that the got the most votes... EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD does not rule this thread..... its gonzo . On to round 3....10 songs remain...who doesnt belong? I'll keep voting open til there is a clear loser OR when the votes stop coming in. Lipps Inc "Funky Town". Like Voices says, it's a novelty. And even though it was from like 1980, it was like one of the last songs attributed to the golden era of LATE 70s disco, so I think it should be banished.
And compared to the other remaining artists on the list, what the fuck did Lipps Inc really do to define the 80s?
