looking back: Babyface - Face 2 Face I got this album when it first dropped, and I really dont know why.. I like babyface.. but not just a huge fan.. but I bought it, thought it was okay, let it sink in for a month or two.. and fell in love with it..
The First two tracks are just killer tracks.. check those out There are some really good tracks on this disk.. its very upbeat and the hooks, to me, are highly addictive.. If his new album is anything like this, i'll be picking it up.. It was a disk for me to chill to, when I was taking a break from the regular music I enjoy.. The only thing i didnt care for is the songs toward the end of the cd, they start sounding the same.. other than that, I really dig this disk. its a fun disk.. [Edited 9/13/04 9:45am]

I'm a fan of his,but I was disappointed with this CD.On this album,he was simply trying too hard to appeal to a younger crowd.Babyface's best work is his 1993 album 'For The Cool In You'.

I love this CD. "I Keep Callin' ", "Stressed Out" & "Work It Out" are all better than anything on his latest CD. Face to Face is no "Tender Lover" but it's a solid album just the same. Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance
