is there an f'n copy protector on the peaches cd?!

i just tried to import the peaches cd (that i paid for, by the way) onto my ipod and every song has pauses at 5 second intervals. has anyone else experienced this? is this how copy protectors work? how fucking ridiculous.

I don't know how that works but I wondered when they were going to get around to making CDs harder to copy.

I don't have a CD burner in my computer. My CD burner is a stereo component. If you plug a separate CD player into your stereo, you can listen to the CD while you are recording it (just like recording an LP) and insert the track numbers manually. They can't fuck you up that way. You also get a better copy because you can control the recording level.

If you want to put it in your computer, then you put the copy in and download it. It takes time but it can be done.

I once downloaded the song "Set it Off" by Peaches and it had a virus in it. All my MP3 Files and everything else on my computer was infected and destroyed because I didn´t have an antivirus Program.

Thank you Peaches.

Yup, that's one of the telltale signs.

If you get a DVD-R or DVD-RW drive, it will solve all your problems. Certain models will rip anything, no matter the copy protection on it.

I don't think those discs are copy protected at all. I've ripped mp3's from those discs without problem. I did, however, have a problem playing them in winamp. Some discs are funky and picky like that.
