Anyone still feeling "College Dropout"?

I know its been a while since his album dropped, but i still find myself listening to it. The beats are so creative to me it reminds me of the neptunes sort of but clean and dry. My fav. songs are:

Jesus Walks
The New Workout Plan
Get'em High
School Spirit
Spaceship
and that track with mos def on it i can't remember the name of it.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I have had this cd for months.I know it's really good and I'll dig it,but I can't bring myself to listen to it.I don't know why.Maybe I feel like Kanye is being force fed to us.I dunno.I just can't wait for Tip,Talib, and Mos to come and save the day.Although,The Roots have been rockin' me a lot.

The best Songs To me are.....

Never Let Me Down with Jay Z
Two Words with Mos Def

Mos Def is the ultimate hip hop underdog, One of the best on the M-I-C

Yeah, "Two words" is wicked!

You know if Mos took the time out to record another full length album, he probably wouldn't be such an underdog. Actually, he's doing pretty damn good to only have 2 full length studio albums out. nod

Though, he does seem to wreck on every cameo he happens to be on.

And yeah! Kanye still gets mad play on my system!

Another thing, his album would've been damn near a ten if it wasn't for all of those annoying skits! mad

The album as a whole is good, I wouldn't bury it in the collection now, but I am tired of the constant attention he is getting now. It may be deserved cause he has talent, but HE is not the savior of music. He has to come 300% better than College with his next album to even stick in the memories of those who care. Can he do it? Time will tell.

Very True about the skits.
Has anyone heard The song he did with Common called Food?
THey performed it on CHapelle Show a while back and its really dope.
