I didn't think Whitney looked that bad, especially compared to that one performance last year or whenever it was that she looked SO skeletal. At least tonight her arms didn't look so twiglike and her collarbones weren't sticking out a mile.
I think she looked ill, though. I kept waiting for her to faint. Her upper lip was all beaded up with sweat and when the performance ended she knelt down right away. I wouldn't be surprised to hear stories later of her going backstage and passing out or needing some medical attention. The whole thing is so sad. Whitney had such a talent and gift and threw it away with both hands. | |
