That is only one part of the song and it is the part that relates to this thread. The rest of the song, Andre sings about relationships with women. I don't necessarily think it is Andre coming out of the closet but it is definately a male friend of his coming out to him and Andre merely showing that he understands.

The song as a whole seems to be different scenarios of love. It's called "Book Of Love". Several times in the song, Andre sings, "The answer to the question is written in the book of love".

BTW, I don't think this song is specifically about being gay.Some songs are very open-ended, with rather universal themes, and could be interpreted many different ways. It's actually pretty easy to "find" hidden meanings in just about anything.
