Um, that's probably because Michael is still alive and still making music? That's like saying, "Who's the more famous actress? Reese Witherspoon or Katharine Hepburn?" Reese.....because some kids know who she is. Hendrix is dead... and everybody knows who he is... young and old... so Hendrix Obviously beat out elvis lol lol

Well, Mikes only about a buck fifty. Elvis was in the mid 200's when he died. So Elvis is bigger. Though there is still time for Michael to let himself go. | |

His lookalikes have become an institution. He has a museum that is one of the most successful in the world. He is topping the charts 25 years after his death, and his songs transend generations. People say, "where were you when Elvis died?" as if it were Kennedy or Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. They are not going to be saying in 25 years time, "where were you when Michael was convicted of child rape". As for the kids of today not knowing Elvis.....they know Avril Lavine's songs, but it doesn't make her bigger than Madonna. . |

Everyone might have their own copy "The Ultimate Collection" or something in that vein, but other than that most people are so unaware of Elvis Presley's recording catalog it's almost endearing. | |
