Speaking of Fanaticism

TrioTV is running a 7 episode series on the fans of various artists and events.

Parking Lot
TRIO Original Series (2003)

Spawned by the classic 1980s underground film "Heavy Metal
Parking Lot", Trio travels to the parking lots and convention
grounds of America's favorite pop culture events to hear the
devoted express their devotion in their own words.

If you don't get this channel, there are clips on the TRIO site.

Simultaneously enlightening and frightening. eek

Let's not be too quick at making fun of some of the people shown in those clips. This is a site dedicated to some famous person, and each of us to some degree care deeply about him. I may not go as far as those in the clips, but I've been to four shows during the tour, the satellite showing, a small fan club get together, and have joined this and the other prominant site devoted to "". Someone could easily accuse me of being overzelous, considering the amount of money, travel and time I've spent on Prince just this year. As is always the case, they will display the extreme cases on their program, so lard butts such as I can quietly laugh at " those morons. I wouldn't go that far!! ". What would they have found if they were at a Prince concert during this year? I'm not naming any names, but given the chance to be on TV screaming about their favorite celeberity, some certain Orgers & Quakers would be just as CRAZED n' Nutty as those portrayed in thaat program. Now that I'm done with my smug lil' opinion, where's the camera, I got some screaming to do!!!!! lol omg omfg shocked woot! headbang nutty nutty yay! dancing jig lurking prince
