Johnny Cash - gone already a year hey
Just noticed that tomorrow is the first sad aniversary of Johnny Cash's passing away. Just thought it might be appropriate to start a topic about it. I've always been into Willie Nelson so i think it's kinda sad I really got into mr Cash's music after he passed away. I remember the tribute they did at the cma's with nelson, kristofferson and others...that was where i first heard many of his songs that i now am in love with. I don't know about you guys but I'll be listening to some of his music tonight and tomorrow. Thank god though he didn't roll down the same path as elvis, cause he very well could have. For a guy who spent so much time singing about death it's still strange to know he's actually gone. for some reason i always got the impression this song was about hank williams, but it could have been about Johnny just as well:
