Why is everyone saying that Love Song is repettitive? There is so much going on in that track... it's just minimalistic! I'm gonna have to listen again, but I don't ever remember feeling like that song is repettitive; that's a huge pet peeve of mine. This is the only song I actually reach for!

"Love Song" is a very repetitive song. They keep asking "Are you wasting my time? Are you just being kind?" over and over and over. The second verse is the same as the first one.Madonna has said that she and Prince recorded this song by "sending tapes back and forth",and it sounds like it...lol...if they had been in the studio together, side by side, they probably could have wrote some more lyrics and fleshed out the song a little more.It has a "demo" feel to it,which is cool, and it's still an intriguing song.

But there is music in the song as well... Little sprinkles here and there that add to the feel of the song. Like I said, minimalistic. And I love the unorthodox sounds they used for the beats. But I guess I'm the only one that pays attention to that kind of thing. There is more to a song than just the lyrics. I also like the fact that she sings the low part and he sings the high parts. Normally in a male/female duet it's the other way around.

I assumed a restaurant reservation. I don't think it means anything. It was just kind of a joke.

according to the Encycolpida Madonnica it's her restervation to heaven that isn't in the computer

Ok that's what i actually thought it was. So Madonna admits that she is going to hell in that song.

You have to laugh at the number of people Prince has supposedly allowed to take credit for his work.

"Prince worked with XXXXX on the XXXXX album but was just too nice to take credit, so he let them shine instead!"

I don't know how many different permutations of that quote I've seen.

rolleyes
