First Christain Milan put on a amateur lip-synched per4mance, with these cheap 2 dancers on her side and only did 3 songs. it was very dull (2 me, but the screamin teens didnt care).


Then Kanye came out with "We Dont Care What People Say". MAN he put on a great per4mance. He had a DJ and his background singer on keyboard...and low and behold...no bunches of guys runnin around drowning him out and acting dumb onstage. Just Kanye.
He danced on "Jesus Walks" (best per4mance), snippets of "Slow Jams" and "Overnight Celebrity", thumpin on "The New Workout" and even a Rick James tribute (singing some of "Give It 2 Me baby" and asking for a moment of silence).


it took about 1/2 our 4 Usher 2 come out.

He began explodingly with "Caught Up" wearing all white full fledge dance with at leasst 8 other dancers on stage. There was a story that had these girls leaving Usher / fighting over him.

He went in2 "U Make Me Wanna" (the crowd screamed wildly), he did all the same dances that he did in the video cutting off the taking off shoes part (damn i wanted 2 c that).
The dancers came back on stage 2 spraypaint "My Way" on a screen b4 ripping in2 the song. Usher at this point was sounding like he was getting tired repeatedly stopping and the crowd took over the chorus. The dancers took turns breakdancing. It was nice.

He then took it "Nice and Slow" but b4 that speaking 2 the crowd, making sure that people vote, and speaking about relationships. He tried to pull a Prince move by kickin over the mic stand numerous times (never doing it as good) while per4ming "U Got It Bad". He brought a girl on stage 4 "Do It 2 Me" throwing her on a couch, grinding with her, and kissing her neck.





anyway...

He went on to do "Bad Girl" with a man on the side acting as if he was playing the guitar (u just know it wasnt nuthin but the album sample ) Came out in a white suit. He sported a Timberwolves jersy and Kanye came out with him per4m "U Dont Have 2 Call". A nice run on "U Remind Me"

And of course he ended it with "Yeah" which wasnt impressive much other than the normal dances he did on the vid, but it was nice because he got the crowd to do 'the buscuit' and the 'Uptown [Slide]??].

Overall it was a good concert..not better than Prince or nothing, but he put on a good enough show, and kanye was great 2.

Anybody else been 2 Usher concert?

was this at the Target Center?

Sounds like a pretty lousy show, but I'd pretty much expect that form Usher.

I didn't go but Usher got very good reviews in the local papers this morning. They said it wasn't so much a concert as it was a very grand spectacle.

This DUMB a** did the same thing at the concert my wife went to... he encourated us all to vote in the 'upcoming elections'. We Canadians would love to vote Bush out of office but we can't Usher - we're not a part of the U.S. you IDIOT!
