Ronnie was an amazing vocalist. He had a hit single in the early 70s called "If You Let Me Make Love To You (Why Can't I Touch You)?",but there weren't too many other hits. His 1977 hit "Don't Be Afraid" is a GREAT song,a funky, midtempo jam.Sadly,he passed away in 1990.

U sure coz he looked proper young as in early 20's Biography: "Ever since bulldozing his way onto the scene with unforgettable tracks like 'Cuddly Toy' and 'Family Man' in the late 80¹s, Andrew Roachford's maverick take on music has spread far and wide. As the first artist to sign a staggering seven-album deal with Columbia Records, it heralded the beginning of something big. "Getting signed and being a black British artist gave me a sense of pride," enthuses Andrew... "... All of Andrew's albums to date: 'Roachford' 1988, 'Get Ready' 1991, 'Permanent Shade of Blue' 1994 and 'Feel' 1997 all reached gold status in Britain. He was also Columbia's biggest selling domestic act for over ten years. As if any more proof were needed, the fact that Andrew Roachford has been approached by such luminaries as Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan to write songs, speaks volumes." http://www.roachford.co.u...e/biog.htm ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. Donna DeLory....I would never have said so until I heard her album "Bliss" for the first time. I think it was her second album (following a dance record she did in hte early 90s) and it came out in 2000. It blew me away...her voice is amazing...SHE is amazing when she's not in Madonna's shadow!

I agree so much, donna is such a talented vocalist you would never guess. Her father was apparently a musician as well.

What happened to her? She was great!!! Someday. Maybe not now, but someday. Great jam band. I just wish people would notice. Akin to the Gang of 4 style of Punk/Funk/Politics, they should've gotten some notoriety of some kind. (Well, they were big in the UK at least, but they should've had some #1 R&B hits here in the States.) [Edited 9/10/04 19:47pm] NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
