ok, y'all i know icp is lame however i still think they deserve
some love. Now the last joker card has dropped with Hell's Pitand the end of the world has come (at least in icp land)
So let me make my case for why i like them and y'all can make up your won mind.
(1) there two guys who dress in clown cloths and make up
(whats not to like here?)
(2) some of their beats are solid (see Amazing Jeckel Brothers. Bizzare, and Hell's Pit)
(3) their albums are loosely put together concept albums
here a quick summary of the concept if u put the joker;s cards
together. their two guys who dress and clown make up.
their dead aso they have super powers.
they spray everyone and everything with soda ... so and so on
ok ive rambled on enough (sorry for the length of post)

But i'm from Detroit, so I gotta get in on this.

I've been listening to ICP since ringmaster. Wow, that seems a long time ago.

Hell's Pit is, without a doubt the worst album they've made, ever. J continues his trend of practically talking his way through the songs, instead of actually flowing. He's been doing this for a few years now.

With the Exception of the Excellent "Wizard of the Hood" EP from last year, which I loved, I haven't cared for much of ICP's output in the last few years. The last album I enjoyed all the way through was Jeckel Bros. Bizzar/Bizaar had a few decent moments, but overall, a lot of bullshit there.

Don't even get me fucking started about Dark Lotus.

The Wraith (which I consider to be the "real" sixth joker's card, fuck hell's pit) definately had some tight shit on it .....

PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO REALIZED "THY UNVEILING" IS "THE CROSS" WITH DIFFERENT LYRICS!!!!! It's tight too, they didn't Trick Me, I saw that shit coming years ago, but nobody believed me. Of course.

Nowadays, I listen to Twiztid a hell of a lot more than ICP. Jamie Madrox, fuckin owns on any song he's on.

Whatever, I just knew that I'd be the only one in here to speak on this thread with any kind of seriousness, so there you go.

Where I surprised my then colleagues by pogo-ing into the mosh pit and get drenched in the cola they spray into the crowd.

MMMMM. Me and about 50 half naked teenagers, slippery and wet....
I wonder why they were surprised...

I love the ICP. They are insane and fun. Just like me.

The ICP.... I still have posters of the band. Their image is well thought of, even though of course it is made to appeal to teenage boys afraid of girls. But that is okay. I see the humour of it. And I love the way they perform.
How many times me and my colleague were bobbon our heads to their tunes...esp the Great Milenko.

Thanks everyone for replying. I agree "Wizard of the hood" is solid and classic. ICP puts on a great show as i'm sure you guys know. they were great at woodstock 99. I'm going to post a review of their live dvd later if any of are interested. peace and DOWN WITH THE CLOWNS 4 LIFE!!!!

They haven't released a solid album worth of material since Great Melinko. Jeckle Bros. had it's ups and downs and everything since has been horrid. Once Mike Clark left, they had nowhere but down to go. The Wraith is possibly the worst album ever released in the history of music and after that pile I don't think I can even purchase this one. I might have to steal it just to check it out.

But Ringmaster is, was and always will be a masterpiece. "Bugs on my nugs" is the song of the 20th century.

Twiztid was great too. I didn't buy anything after the first release of their first album, so I don't know how they have turned out.

ICP My brother loves them...why I don't know. I know they hate Eminem....which is good, I guess. Some of their songs are funny though and I like some of their album covers. The only time I liked them was when they were wrestling with WWF some years ago....they were the Oddities.

I'm still a Juggalo, but I don't go to concerts anymore. Quite frankly, ICP fans SUCK. They rob other Juggalos, molest women and generally are the kind of assholes that used to pick on me in grade school.

I agree: Twiztid is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than ICP ever was. "The Green Book" was some TIGHT shit.

And I agree: "Hell's Pit" is mostly whack. I DID, however, love "Bowling Balls." One of the best songs they've ever done!
