Joey lawrence...."the kid from Blossem made an album!!!" Yep, remember that good looking but dumb boy from early 90's tv show "Blossom"? Well he released an album that few will own now but it was a surprisingly solid pop effort that came at the wrong time in the US.....1993 was when his album dropped!
I found it again ( my sisters I imagine) and I dig it alot really!.... Anyway, few will still remember the hit single "Nothin' my love can't fix", which to me is a catchy, now too poppy song that is very happy sounding.....something which has been missing from pop music since around 1993! Other highlights included "I can't help myself" and the 2 corny but nice sounding ballads "Stay forever" and "where does that leave me"..... Infact, his voice is quite good to me and considering this album dropped in 1993, this must of been the last ever truly happy sounding sunny upbeat pop album ever! (minus boybands)! Oh yeah, check out his rap song "Just another love song"....a dance monster that is pre backstreet boys on the chorus..... Man, this album reminds me of my childhood.....check out the pictures and his clothes on the album booklet.....think Glenn Medeiros' "She ain't worth it" in voice and pop funkiness and ur about there 2 what this album sounds like! It's not that I don't remember it...it's that I'm trying oh-so-hard to FORGET it!  The ORG - the only place where you can be called a wigger, a racist and a Nazi and be banned for defending yourself. It's so hard being white nowadays...

I remember it!  He made a video for "Nothin my love can't fix"...Remember, they played it after an episode of Blossom! I used to think he was kinda yummy back then but when I look back now I laugh...man I even got a special edition magazine of just Joey Lawrence as a gift sometime back then too and I came across it packed away in a box about 3 months ago! He shoulda been part of NKOTB lol | |

I think he made an album a few years ago as well. I remember seeing a video of his on the Disney channel or ABC/Fox Family Channel ever five mins. I don't remember the song but the video was in him a suit against a white set. | |

Come on man, don't diss.....happy poppy music is great and just is not made anymore.....bubblegum like this should make u feel good!
Even the pop of today is too serious about image,sex and posing with a rapper.....it's a a shame really  | |
