The Complete Concert Experience

I have been to MANY concerts...seen the greats..Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Madonna etc. But there are still others I would love to see before I die and complete my concert going experiences.

I would LOVE to see...

Wendy & Lisa
Edie Brickell
David Bowie
Gypsy Kings
George Michael

I think then I can live happily ever after!

Who is left for you to see that's still alive?

too strange - i was just having this conversation with the boyfriend. get outta my head! smile

really, i've seen pretty much everyone i really really like, and i'm getting to a place in life where, when someone i like is coming into town to perform, it'll be like my second or third time seeing them (i'm seeing diamanda galas next week for the fifth time, and laurie anderson next month for the second time...see? sorry, hadda brag mr.green )....STILL, there are a few artists left for me to see:

bjork (i can NOT believe i've never seen her live)

beck

motorhead (they're playing house of blues next month, and i can't find anyone ballsy enough to see 'em with me...and i sure ain't ballsy enough to see 'em alone...wellll...)

and blur, maybe? i could take or leave seeing 'em, but it might be fun. i saw damon a. w/ gorillaz, and that hit the spot.

falloff That looks hilarious! Yeah, I can imagine all these Bjork fans talking to each other with frequent pitch changes and wild emphatic gestures.

I finally saw her last year...all of my friends did. Wasn't all that freaky...and I'm in SF. Really regular folks like her. Very normal crowd.

Oh NO there is not. An EX of mine had a friend die of AIDS the day of one of her concerts. He was SO distraught he didn't want to go. His friends convinced him that Patti was EXACTLY what he needed. Somehow Patti got word about this and in the middle of the show mentioned the passing of his friend and dedicated a song to him.

Now THAT'S CLASS!
