Madonna: Dear Jessie I think this song by her is so sweet and honest from Madonna. She apparently written it for some little girl she knew.
It's about pink elephants and lemonade, cupcakes, fairies, birthdays and wishes. Everything little girls dream about. I swear if i have a daughter im gonna name her Jessie just because of this song and this will be her song. Your thoughts on this song? | |

Great song from one of Madonna's best and most consistent albums. It's a shame she doesn't get a lot of credit for a lot of the truly great songs she's written/co-written over the last 20 years. Even Babyface gave her serious props when he was asked about their collaboration on TAKE A BOW. But I guess Madonna is really the one to blame for people not completely taking her seriously as a songwriter - "Look at me now! By the way, I have a new album out!" | |
