Can't waitto get this Tuesday, but I don't like the cover of the new cd, it's just not right. The pose looks awkward-- and the type face bothers me.
If they had a cover like the picture you posted of her that would nice. But that's just the cover, it's all about the music!!! Can't wait!! | |

I haven't heard her new album yet. I like some of her older stuff though. She's gonna be on Jay Leno sometime this week. I think it's tonight...not 100% sure though. I'll have to go to his site to see the upcoming guests. [Edited 9/6/04 10:45am]  Four strings across the bridge. I have heard the CD and it is off the hook. Anita picks right up where she left off and she doesn't have to get the latest producer/rapper to doit. Pick it up you won't be disappointed! | |

If they had a cover like the picture you posted of her that would nice. But that's just the cover, it's all about the music!!! Can't wait!! Actually, I've noticed two covers all over. Both have a purple bluish background but one is close up on her face and she looks like a deer in the headlights (which I also found strange looking). Another is much nicer and shows the top half of her body as she is leaning on a surface and smiling. Much nicer and I've seen that one more so I assume it's the actual cover. I think it's the same one on Amazon so check it out. I also can't wait for this CD. The Detriot News gave it a nice review but kind of hinted it was sort of reptitive and boring. I wasn't thrilled by her last album and am hoping that this 10 years was worth the wait. Judging by Al Green's recent release on Blue Note, it should be good. | |

You know I really didn't feel Rhythm of Love completely too, but I love the other albums.
