Well I know there will be many rants on MTV and the VMAS...so heres another...

First of all lets start with MTV, first rule if you are going to throw a Bash like this in Miami, invite some Latin Artists since they Latins make up most of Miami, its just respect, and No JLO dont count, and Marc Anthony was there by default.

Second thing lets talk about the WHY's?????

Why does Good Charolette exist?

Why does Bruce Willis look like he was kidnapped?

Why is Mase back?

Why hasnt Someone beat up Lil Jon yet?

Why cant Usher leave his shirt on and Sing Live without a clip track thats in synch with him.

Why is Usher's head so far up his ass?

Why Paris Hilton around, she ain't hot, shes famous by default.

Why is Tony Hawk winning an award?

Why are all the Videos nominated for DANCE video, either Rap RB or Pop videos?

Why do I have to hear about LL's new CD so much?



Now Lets talk Performances or what they called performances?

Ashlee Simpson is horrible, case closed, shes A low budget Avril Lavigne riding her sister and wishing she was Alanis

Usher I have nothing to say, but the Ego will catch up and then you will find yourself alone

Terror Squad this is why Rap gets no respect and only sells to kids with no attention spans

That Rock performance, whoever those groups were, basically this years one hit wonders, rock is about sounding different.

Kanye West, i dont really understand the craze but whatever, and Chaka, oh my god, keeping searching for the KEY, its probably buried under your drugs.

Jessica Simpson, look your not Joe Cocker STOP ALREADY...I like your voice but you need serious training in HOW to sing.

Christina Aguilera and Nelly well Im not a Nelly fan at all, and Christina annoys me as a person (fake), but i dont really have anything bad to say about her, vocally she is strong.

Alica Keys and Stevie and Lenny .....I know alot of people were hoping for Prince on that Guitar but that will probably never happen. Alicia I love U and U are a ray of Hope and Light in a dismal so-called musical world. Lenny well hes just Lenny. And Stevie, well its a shame that the audience of teenagers HAVE NO CLUE on your genius, they are surely the BLIND ONES in more ways than one.



Now just about some people and wardrobe and all that stuff

The Beastie Boys, thanks for not changing, Im not crazy about you but i give props.

Jayz its a shame you retired when U finally were starting to actually get creative.

Beyonce, I love that outfit, but how come if Mariah wears it shes a slut and if U do its Hot.( and dont tell me Mariahs not hot)

Well let me close this out on a serious note. MTV u look more foolish when U try to redeem yourself and tack on a Ray Charles tribute on to a show that featured SOULESS RB and Empty shallow music.

I look back 20 years and I see a show with Prince, Michael, Stevie, Lionel, John Mellencamp, the Eurythmics, Jovi, Duran, Depeche, Cure, AHA, etc....and 20 years later that SHOW STILL IS EXISTING.....Im sorry to say that none of what was there tonight will be there in 20 years....Well Stevie will be...and Alicia.

Most of what you posted is on point, but did you really think Beyonce's outfit was HOT?

She looked a freaking mess. She needs to fire her momma-stylist. That outfit was awful.

Worst VMA's ever. Some highlights:

1. VMA Peformance of "Lean Back" has got to be one of the worst televised performances I've seen in the past year or so. A bunch of dudes prancing around, grunting unintelligble lyrics for 3.5 minutes while scantily-clad women prance around them to distract clueless teens from the horrible music.

Also one of the worst songs ever to hit #1, for sure.

2. Jessica Simpson giving the TWITCHIEST performance of the evening. Her head is jerking back and forth so much it looks like it'll pop off (oh, sorry Jessica, you're trying to emote, I mistook it for a seizure). Meanwhile, she keeps trying to hit notes, never quite getting there but amusing us along the way.

3. Alicia Keys won best R&B Video over Usher. Ms. Keys wins worst actress of the evening as she feigns surprise (actually she looks more like she just wasn't paying attention, but whatever - nobody else was, really), then dives into a hilariously generic acceptance speech. The disconnect between Alicia's elegant dress and her apparent inability to string a simple sentence together also makes for fun.

4. Endless shots of André 3000 with a "WTF AM I DOING HERE????!!!" look on his face.

5. XXXTina, determined to out-slut and out-scream everyone in the auditorium. She and Nelly (who is puzzlingly termed an "accomplished musician" by the announcer) take their "inspired" duet back to the '20s. That's right, Chrissy and Nelly are going to show Catherine and Renee how Chicago should really be done, but not before dragging the dancers from Janet's "Alright" video down with them.

6. "Now, appearing on stage together for the first time in 5 years - Mase and P. Diddy!" elicits an audience reaction that would normally be reserved for Jesus appearing on stage with Mel Gibson.

7. According to LL Cool J, "what Marvin Gaye did for his generation, Alicia Keys is doing for ours" (WTF?????), and Alicia is also apparently "an artist ahead of her time", despite the fact that she steals hooks and melodies right and left from old school soul.

8. Stevie Wonder completely blows Alicia out of the water.

9. Beyoncé trumps J.Lo in the bad outfit department. Mandy Moore trumps Lindsay Lohan in the bad implant department.

10. Usher, fellating himself (figuratively) in front of an audience of millions. Self-love has never been so public.

11. Jo-Jo, the most plastic 13-year-old yet to sing about love and sex and getting rid of her man, appears to be a mini-me version of Lindsay Lohan. Breasts to inflate in 3 years.

SHIT that was the funniest post I've read in a long time.

It was truly dreadful to watch such a horrible show. I had to flip the station to Six Feet Under from time to time to releive my torment.

It's a real let down considering the Grammys this year where increadible with Prince & Beyonce opening, and the rest of the musical acts getting in on the action.

But the MTV music awards??? Shameful.

The part that dissapoints me the most is that it was in Miami Southbeach which is one of the hottest, most fun places to party. I love that town. I drive there at least once a month on the weekends to dance my ass off all night.

I even visit the old Prince club (used to be Glam Slam) from time to time. MTV mad miami look like nothing more than a cheep tinsel town, and that just ain't right.
