Those were some good times for radio brother. I used to fall sleep with a transistor radio on under my pillow every night. Especially when Murray went to FM. I was listening the night he played Hey Joe the 1st time. Remember Roscoe? This is Roscoe...in stereo...for you. He used to also MC shows at the Fillmore East. And Allison "The Nightbird" Steele. Dayum those were some good times. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

No. Aw man i'm sorry to hear that. His cords were made for the FM airwaves, or any announcing for that matter. I would hear his voice occasionally on TV commercials in the past. He should be a mandatory listen for anyone considering broadcasting. That's really too bad. To Roscoe, I still hear you. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I've always been impartial to John. He was the clown, the controversial one, the one who spread alot of hope and love at a time of uncertainty. Not to take away from the others, but he just had that affect on me. George would be a close second. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

George was definitely my "type".
Musically, I'd have to say Paul.

Paul, in every way.
Compare the solo releases. Lennon's solo output was filled with a handful of good songs, but never a good collection of them. None of his albums are true classics, although Double Fantasy was a good one. Meanwhile, McCartney made classic albums like Ram, Red Rose Speedway, Band on the Run, Back to the Egg, and much later, Flaming Pie and Driving Rain. Plus, Lennon for all of his interesting personality and "cool" factor was really a giant asshole from most accounts....
