Does anyone here listen to GOSPEL?? Does anyone on here listen to Gospel? I am a christian and I love Gospel..my favorite Gospel artist is TWINKIE CLARK. She was the leader, visionary and talent of the Gospel group "The Clark Sisters." They had a crossover hit in 1983 with "You Brought The Sunshine." TWINKIE wrote all their material, arranged it all, produced it all and is a reknown organist and pianist in the Gospel industry. My other Gospel favorites include..Thomas Whitfield, Edwin Hawkins, Andrae Crouch and Richard Smallwood..
for those that know who those people are, you can tell that I LOVE musicians(they are all musicians).... who are you favorite Gospel artists , if you listen to Gospel.

I see that you mentioned alot of the old school gospel classics. I prefer old school gospel artist and not feeling alot of the new schol gospel artists. This is some of the music that I grew up on. Another name that you need to add is James Cleveland.

I pretty much like a lot of the old school Gospel recording artists. It's not that I dislike what I hear in Gospel today, it's that I don't hear much of any new gospel today, I guess because I haven't looked into most of it. A lot of folks like Kirk Franklin's type of Gospel, but I've never been a fan of it. It's too watered down for my tastes. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.
