Michael Jackson from the Dangerous Album onwards. I i knew he was black but i reckon he was acting white and still is. But i suppose it doesnt matter if your Black or White. Still respect goes to the man Musical icon of the 21st century along with Prince hehehehehe

Don't know about any Black singer's I thought were white off the top of my head but one white singer I always thought was black is Laura Nyro. My friend made me a tape way back when people still had tape players of her song "Eli's Coming"... and I coulda sworn she was a black soul singer. I've been hooked over since.
Change it one more time..

What about all those white women in musical films of the '30s & '40s whose voices are really dubbed in black women? Who are not even listed in the credits!!! Quite a few "legendary" movie stars got their success walking on the backs of black women.

Have there ever been songs you heard where it was a black singer and you thought they were white? Here are some of mine:

Get Right Back To Where We Started From - Maxine Nightingale
Lead Me On - Maxine Nightingale
Drift Away - Dobie Gray
Boys Are Back In Town- Thin Lizzy/Phil Lynot
Soft And Wet- Prince (This was before I had the album and never had seen Prince. I thought it was a white girl singing.)
Love/Arthur Lee (all of their stuff)
Who is it for you?

Anything by Charley Pride, or Aaron Neville.
