I totally agree, in a week that saw a Horrid display of artists, with the VMA's, it was redeeming to watch the Latin Grammies. The thing I dont like is the duet pairings, Jessica Simpson should be on the Latin Grammies period, i dont care what she sings or how hot she is, clearly American artists are put on this show to gain viewers because the networks feel no one will watch. Well honestly they should Leave these shows alone, the Latin Grammies should just feature the artists nominated or working in the Latin Industry, Last year Justin was on, why? because he took Spanish in High school, because he had a song called "senorita".

But what I will say, is that there is alot more talent in the Latin Market than the American one. I actually watch and listen to alot of Latin Artists even though I dont speak it or understand it all, their Video network HTV and even MTV en espanol is not filled with ROAD RULES and ROOM RAIDERS and other crap shows, they actually show videos 24/7 and have NO VJS!!! No SWAY No GIDEON No Carson daily, none of that crap, just music and nothing else.

The show all in all was good, I love PAULINA ever since her early days, she is a great free spirit, and it was great to see Roselyn Sanchez get noticed for her Great Album, and other talents like Alejandro Sanz and newcomer David Bisbal. Trust me Ricky Martin and JLO are not the only Latins making music, although thats all MTV will give U.

Was it just me or did it seem as if Lindsay Lohan (however you spell it), was afraid to get close to Carlos Santana when they were presenting? lol And the prompt they read was the worst and fakest thing ever read on one of those shows. LOL Lindsay: "Carlos..your music has inspired all of us." Carlos: "Thank You and good luck with your music career." lol
