She hasn't tugged at my heart strings yet, but it's still early. I dug Angel in Disguise a lot and Almost Doesn't Count a little. Regardless, she's a sweetie pie. Looks FABulous, now. WOW! She's glowing!
That said, I'll keep peeping out her future projects for that ONE album that'll make me say WOAH!

Baby- My favorite but that was all Keith Crouch, the producer. He also had a smash with Rafael Patterson, can't remember the song. Very funky and Prince-like though. Brandy seems like a nice gal, my friend worked with her label and said she did work hard and was always nice to him even though he was asking her to kiss radio butt most of the time.

Brandy... I can't dig her. I think it's the eyes. They're on the side of her head, like a horse or a fish. If you walked straight up to her, she'd never see you coming.

Brandy is back with a new look (no more cornrows), a new sound, a new hubbie and a new baby on the way all at 23.

She is also listed in MJ's Invincible credits, tho Im not sure what cut she's on.

Her latest single "What About" has tight, futuristic production oh ner voice and I think she got that single done while doing her thing with MJ cuz it sounds like on of his voice production technniques on Invincible.

How could u work with the King, and he dont break u off a lil sumthin, sumthin, for your own album coming out?

I think she is a beautiful young lady, that chubby lil gurl with the sassy attitude who got that show "The Parkers" got more popular then her's and there was a small rift on the set ever since then.

Lady friends who saw the doll they made of Branndy for lil gurls said it is one of the most beautiful dolls they have ever made of a African-American gurl.

The Cinderella special they did on Disney/ABC I thought was well done and a good wehicle for her-she loves Whitney!

Brandy sings background vocals on MJ's song "Unbreakable".She is a great talent,saw her on 'Oprah' the other day and she was fantastic.

She's alright. Nothing to write home about. Lot's of slick production, just like everyone else.
And working with Michael Jackson is certainly nothing to brag about.
I'm still trying to get over the fact that MJ was best man (along with Tito) at a gay man's wedding. Maybe it's fitting, I don't know. Too funny. Plastic surgery freaks and painkiller poppers. That's the group who Michael Jackson hangs with now.

Does anyone remember Brandy's sitcom 'Moesha'? Occasionally,I watch it in re-runs.It's a cool show.

I love Brandy. She is one of the most Soulful things to come out of the soulless 90's. I have every album and thinks she deserves a ton of props.

Regarding her looks, Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder. No person should judge another persons looks. I happen to be someone who is attracted to her. To those that mentioned her looks, what do you suggest she do to make her self more attractive to you? She is the way she was born, and only God had control over that. Lighten up people.

The girl can sing and that is why she is in the business.

i am normally not a fan of hers..but damn, that new song is straight out inovative. hats off to her for having the guts to sing it against the beat..and hats off to the producers for being so daring..

i really think this song will be considered cutting edge for R&B. On the same par as Prince's lack of bass for When Doves Cry....(i am right with that tid-bit of history, right? wasnt it the first song/hit without something? and changed musical direction?)

Actually I never quite understood what it means singing "against the beat" and not "with the beat".Could someone explain?

Brandy is cool, I really liked the album that had "baby" and "best friends" on it, I use to sing & dance to it with my daughter when she was a baby. Her music is light and fun, this album I think is more soulful and mature like she is becoming. I do know people who know her well and says she's a very nice and sincere person. However she lets everyone else make decisions for her professionally.

Also her executive producer and producer on "what about" is MJ's producer Rodney Jerkins aka "Dark Child". (such a corny name)

But let me say the next single "Full Moon" is the best on the album. Go buy it!! Rodney did not produce this one, Mike City did.

Yeah, not the greatest singer, but has a cute, playful voice one wouldn't mind listening to once in a while. I liked her songs before, and I like the new one also, guess I like her too, but not crazy about her.

Movin on? I thought that was Mya...but anyway, I really liked 'Almost doesn't the count' the best from all her chart toppers.
