I'm on a Terence Trent D'Arby kick!!!

i just listened to ...Neither Fish Nor Flesh, Symphony or Damn and Vibrator.

doesn't ...Neither Fish Nor Flesh sound likeit could have been influenced by ATWIAD and/or SOTT? i mean, it came off the heels of a really successful first album and it sounds nothing like it's predecesor.

shit the dude is talented!!!

Milty....Sananda is the man!!!! "Vibrator" is one of the best cd's ever....and "WildCard" is just as good, if not better, especially the Joker's Edition. Have you downloaded his latest music from "Angels and Vampires?" If not, you should, because it's great and it has not been watered down by any record company. Download them and also listen to WildCard and you'll keep your "kick" going into overdrive for many years to come nod

It's not "TTD" anymore...it's Sananda Maitreya. I don't know how anyone can listen to "WildCard" and not say it's great....same for "Vibrator" and "Symphony or Damn." But I'm sure one of you will be quick to explain it to me>>>> razz Later.

I truly love the art of TTD,but am I the only 1 having a hard time
listening 2 his latest downloads from "Angels & Vampires"?
The songs R great & his singing is great but his drumplaying is so
sloppy & out of time it's hard 2 listen 2 them.
I just keep thinking that they would sound so great with better production
or better performed but am I the only 1 thinking like that?
I hate 2 say this 2 cuz I'm really a fan other wise of Sananda/TTD.

I think it's more like Lovesexy. Very spiritual cd.

NFNF is still my favourite TTD album, even tought I know it's not his best musically talking.
I always liked the NFNF raw sound and how it flows from start to end, and I agree with VinaBlue, it reminds more of the spirituality and eclectism of "Lovesexy" than others P album.
It also contains his best song (IMO) - "To Know Someone Deeply....."
Talking of "Angels And Vampires" I'm not too impressed for what I listened 'til now, but I have to admit that I'm not too much on that "downloading things time by time"...
I will wait for the release of the full CD to give it the right listening time.

Sananda is great worship and such an underrated artist sigh. His songs are great, his lyrics are brilliant and so is his voice worship worship. I love all his albums, but my favourites are Vibrator and Wildcard. And no, I don't hear much of a Prince influence in his music confused and I have been listening to both artists a lot nod

I love Terence Trent D'Arby. I just bought his video "Introducing The Hardline Live". It's a really good concert, I love how he performed "Wishing Well". That is one of my all time favorite songs. He's a small guy with a huge voice, I love him. Has anyone heard Kevin Lyttle's version of Sign Your Name? He's the guy that sings "Turn Me On".

Violett, I would very highly recommend "WildCard (Joker's Edition)"....I think the whole "Vibrator" album is phenomenal and "WildCard" is even better. I promise you you will love it. You can get it straight from his website www.sanandamaitreya.com . I would also recommend "Symphony or Damn"...it's great too, although I think Vibrator and WildCard are both better.

I LOVED Hardline... LOVED IT!

neutral on Neither Fish Nor Flesh, couldn't get into it...

That's the last one I bought.

His voice is definately original, but he sings off key alot, DAMN.
His dancing is ok, though it's a bit odd too...
His stage presence is ok

Sorry, I've been spoiled...I guess I expect more from an artist.

He is a very good lyricist.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

no no no! That means you never listened to his 3 best abums (in the opinion of most of his fans) Wildcard, Vibrator and Symphony or Damn. They truly show what a great artist he is, you should give them a try nod nod
