Its Sad to say...how bad the MTV Video Music Awards have gotten over the years...this was the most awful year I've ever experienced!!!

Ok, so last year was good, because Madonna opened the show and Beyonce gave us a great performance, but other than that!
Where is the substance and talent!!!?

Ok, so Nelly is one phyne papi...and LL. Cool J. shouldve performed!
Where was PRINCE???

Alicia Keys did her thang, but girl needs to find her way to the dermatologist!
Lenny's Head is way to BIG!!! with his micro-size angel wings!

Christina...I Love you, but its Miami...get a tan and loose the Curls!

Now the sound (acoustics) were horrible...MIC PROBLEMS ALL NIGHT!

Chaka...I Love you too, but honey, lay off the BLOW!
That performance was tacky!

Kayne, pick your face off the floor...spoiled brat!

Usher - you concieted bastard...Justin doesn't care about your image or sound, because its the same exact one that you stole from Bobby Brown and Micheal Jackson, so you need to be thanking those two.

Ok now here's what I wouldve liked to have seen!

PRINCE opens up The Mtv VMA's with Musicology, with the Twin Tap Dancers...who were in the video, and also on stage during the Christina and Nelly performance!
Bring us the FUNK!!! RHONDA on Bass, doing her thang!

Making us feel it all up in the chest area!
Major Horns and Keys!!!

Madonna wouldve also flown her ass in for the show!!!
Giving us an Exclusive Look at her performance from the Re-invention show!

Janet - performs " All Night "
Lauren Hill, Mariah Carey, & Queen Latifah would have premiered their new songs on the show!

Manson would have performed!
Usher and Alicia could have combined their performances together along!

Christina and Nelly -We'll keep them on the show!
Terror Squad wouldve beeen cute, with Pitbull and Nina Sky as a 3 some medley!!!

Ying Yang and Lil Jon would have been banned!
Usher...ok, you can keep your performance, but only for the ending...and Outkast...its over now!

But yeah last year i didn't even know Madge was gonna be opening but i had the VMAs on anyway. And when i seen Britney and Xtina singing like a virgin, i was like "is this a joke?" And then when Madonna came out of the cake like in 1984 i just pissed myself.

now THAT woulda been some hot shit! too bad mtv officially sucks now..can't even make the award shows worth watchin no more!

i've been hearing the phrase "the day MTV died" used quite a bit lately in connection to this year's VMAs. wonder if it'll catch on?

I thought it was worth it to see Stevie Wonder again. Higher Ground was the perfect song for them to do and I think they did it well too.
