oh yes I do, the groove was recycled several times by other artists
Has anyone tried unplugging the United States and plugging it back in?

Is "You Can Do It" the one that goes something like:

You can do it , and you know that you can
There's nothing to it, just go ahead and do your thing (or is it dance?)
Get up, do your thing....

If so, I love this song. biggrin

Actually "Cutie Pie" was the first song that came to mind when I saw the thread.

I remember hearing Cutie Pie when I was a kid (they played the song 24/7 on radio)....Cutie Pie, you're the reason why....
I also like their song Mr. Groove. I must say that I loooove Jesse's Powell's version of "Something In The Past" waaay better than the original by One Way, I think they would be proud that he did their song justice. There are a ton of crappy remakes out there and I highly suggest listening to Jesse's version on his 3rd Cd entitled "JP". I heard One Way's version a few months ago for the first time and although it's not awful, I don't think it compares to Jesse's version. I know I'm probably about to get hit with a ton of bricks through cyberspace but I had to be honest.
Ohhh you keep saying stay the niiiiiiiiight
Just let me rock you 'til the morning liiiiiiight
It's cold outside
And much too late to driiiiiiiive
You know I need you baby
I'm so lost without your love

Damn. You going way back. This group was from Detroit. I used to like all of their cuts especially the one called "If you only knew."
