I don't think of "Thriller" or "Purple Rain" first, but the kind of people who would.. they first think of "Like A Virgin".
I have noticed this and I thought, is that because of the MTV awards 1 year ago with Britters, Christina, singin the song?? But I think that album (and song) was really Madonna's big pop breakthrough "moment". | |

If we're talking albums: LIKE A PRAYER.
That's her best album, IMO. If we're talking everything else, then I would say INNOVATOR. Though she's more "artist" than "musician" compared to Prince and even Michael, I still believe Madonna deserves respect for what she has achieved in the field of popular music. | |
