Hall of Fame Bound?? Which of these "long term" artists do U think will get into the Hall when they become eligible.
Also before U bad mouth any of these artists and say "NO WAY" just remember that Petula Clark, Del Shannon, The Dixie Cups, ZZ top all got in first try while it took Queen 3 trys and groups like CHICAGO and Hall and Oates never made it. ARTIST YEAR ELIGIBLE Duran Duran 2006 INXS 2006 Bon Jovi 2009 Madonna 2008 Van Halen NOW John Mellencamp NOW Mariah Carey 2015 Pearl Jam 2016 Lenny Kravitz 2014 And heres my list of should be in but never got in Chicago Even if u take out the ballad years they're amazing Hall and Oates this is a no brainer also Heart Once again whats the deal with the Hall Im sure if Eric clapton played in one of these groups they'd be in. Eric is in the Hall 4 different times for various side groups and solo, and once for wiping his ass. I think Mellencamp deserves to be in there. They put him to the side last year. Van Halen should be automatic. | |

Van Halen should be in.

Actually, ZZ Top didn't get in during their first year of eligibility. Their first album was released, I think, in 1970. And heres my list of should be in but never got in
