Todd Rundgren (i've just gotten into his music this year, and i'm blown away at how great his voice is)

I'm an old time fan, but for some reason I am starting to find his voice a bit annoying to be honest. Especially on the early albums.

Since you said "voices" and not just singers, I took into account the uniqueness of the voice as well as the emotion and image it can project. These are the voices I most enjoy hearing. In no order mine are:

Sade
Michael Jackson
Prince
2pac
Maxwell
Chaka Khan
Marvin Gaye
Luther Vandross

If we can go to 10 then add: Barry White & Curtis Mayfield

You've got it right, my friend. To me those are indeed the best voices in the business. lol

Well - just exchange George Michael with Prince and i am with you.
I loved the fact that you were able to put MichaelMcDonald on the list.
Well - to name only 8 singers is stupid anyway. There are thousands of great singers in the world. Make sure you get some really old Nat King Cole and Ray Charles records. I can smell you would love these, you probalby have them anyway. Favorite song by MichaelMcDonald: "You belong to me". Cheers.
Thank you. biggrin

Michael McDonald's voice sends chills down my spine. My favorite song by him is also you Belong To Me. I love him. And you know I own Nat and Ray records.
