Some of us just lost are doggone minds and couldn't keep the not so favorable musical tastes under wraps any longer. nuts

And yes it is to each its own, you don't have to agree, admire, or join in. That's just what it is.

If you page back a bit you'll even find a Sun Ra thread.

Speaking of McCoy Tyner, outside of his sideman stints with John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Elvin Jones, one solo album sticks out in my mind.

Fly With The Wind...

...was a release that was generally hated by critics and purists because of the string orchestrations. To me it just showed a more lyrical McCoy along with his usual straight-ahead "power and glory" style. All the left hand explosions and waterfall runs are there, they just happen to be accompanied by strings at times.

would it make u feel better if we started a thread about concocting up a rehab plan for Whitney Houston so that we can get real singers on Billboard again?

or how about if we started a thread about how to make George Michael straight.

Exactly, it ain't gonna happen!!!!

lol That Kylie thread was monstrous.

I like Jill Scoot. In fact, I saw her at a smaller club in Amsterdam a few years back and she just blew me away with that voice of hers. love

Sometimes you want a big hefty plate full of mashed potatos. Sometimes you just want to chew bubble-gum. It's as simple as that. There's room for everything.

I had a detailed thread on my favorite wacky broad Courtney Love that I at least thought would get flamers but nada happened with it. I at least thought there'd be way more to discuss about her then that dumb broad Britney Spears but her boards seem to garner more interest.
