One business sound,
And one who beats them both hands down.

With all due respect, i think videos made MJ and Madonna as big as they are today(especially Madonna).

Not to say that their music is not good because it is. There is no denying that Michael is the King of Pop and Madonna is a very good performer and versatile with her sound. However, i would still say the "Prince" rules because he made it off of his music not his videos(because let's face it; his videos are silly and cheap compared to MJ and Madonna). Michael has kept the same style since Thriller(yawn; remember You Rock My World from Invisible? It was almost like Smooth Criminal part II) and Madonna is excellent at marketing herself and her videos and stage performances are great but would her CD's be soo popular if it wasn't for the videos? Her music is good but to me it does not even compare to Prince.

Prince changed his style(music, clothes, hair etc) LONG before Madonna came around and he had a sound that i just fell in love with. I can still play 1999, PR, ATWIAD, Parade and SOTT today and love it just as much as i did when they were out. As much as i loved Thriller, i don't play that album anymore and have not in years. The same goes for Madonna's past CD's. This is not to say that they are not good but their CD's don't stand the test of time like P's. He was soo ahead of his time. Some of his back catalogue is just now getting the props it deserved back then

Fact wise, I'd have to say
Mike would be number one, Madonna would be 2nd and Prince would be last.

But Prince gets my respect, support, and adoration all the way. He's the man cool and the musical genius out of the three, and the way his music is performed will never cease to amaze me.
peace & wildsign
