Any Anna Mae Bullock fans?

another of my favourite singers is:

When is she coming out with a new album? "TINA hurry up!!!"
Anyone else love Tina Turner?

worship

I'm so glad I got to see her live. "Wildest Dreams" tour. Amazing to say the least. Maybe we could all hope for a comback tour/show; as she's retired from touring. sad

"Foreign Affair"
"What's Love Got To Do With It" (sdtrk)
"Wildest Dreams"

are perhaps my favourite Tina albums. Her box set is really good too.

"Love Thing" from her greatest hits album, "Simply The Best" is one of the sexiest songs ever. drool

Here's a cool site with loads of stuff. TINA!

i wouldn't hold my breath on a new album - i think tina's retired, and unlike cher, i think she means it. sad

who doesn't love tina turner? i mean, my god. she's amazing. my favorite tina is around the early to mid '70s, or as john waters says, "back when she had a moustache". lol bring on the fringed dresses and the spastic go-go dances!

I have always been a fan of hers. She is definitely a hell of an vocalist and dancer. I was glad that Oprah gave it up for Tina and had shows which were dedicated to her tour.

Up to a point. I've got a lot of respect for her, i just wish she's never made 'Simply The Best'. i hate that song with a passion, not her fault though. dumbass sportsmen/teams using it has made it pure cheese

I'd say i like her up to 'Private Dancer'.

Didn't like the Oprah association much either. confused

I agree up2 Private Dancer she was great...but she basically made shit records
4 almost two decades after that, so in that respect she's very overrated. Not as a
performer though...on stage, she's brilliant.

I still buy her albums, and I liked a good deal the one with Missing You -- but didn't care for the 24/7 or whatever it was called. I guess I'm partial to her covers.
