Yep, Diane warren is a songwriter that does write very corny love songs BUT some of her tunes r actually very good.....here r some of my fav's that i own:-


1) "Private affair"- The jacksons
2) "If u asked me to"- patti labelle (used on the end credits of James bond's "License to kill")
3) "Kiss the tears away"- Stevie b.
4) "Not enough hours in the night"- After 7
5) "Dream away"- Babyface/Lisa stansfield ("Pagemaster" soundtrack)

I'm not a Warren fan at all, but I can't wait to see which songs of hers people actually like

It's an obscure one, but I like "Your Heart Built My House (Terri's Song)" by Melissa Manchester.

I have a BBC program on Diane and she has written a boatload of hits.

If I could get 5 of her publishing checks per year and 5 of Babyface's and 5 of Rod Temperton's I could have my own island!

The music may not be to everyones taste but it gives you the idea of the value and the power of a well written pop song. And Diane works just as hard now even after her success.

She once received a million dollar check from the royalties of "How Can I Live Without You" Ladies and Gentleman let's go write some songs!

damn if i can remember what else she wrote.... i have alot of em
