the biggie in loch lomond was that rob collins had just been killed from the charlatans and they were sorely missed.

but i was lucky back in 96 to be aprt of a genuine musical pheneomon

they were the zeitgeist

plus as well as a brilliant gig,hot weather, pulling a married woman that was the weekend WE SIGNED SHEARER!!!

They only big in UK.

Says enuf.

People wipe their asses with their shitty attitude. Noel I like somewhat. He is not dumb as fuck all of the time and is honest about ripping Burt off.

But that Liam is a fucking nitwit and should be shot just to save humanity from his disgraceful stupidity.

Yes Oasis was quite amazing around that time. Too bad the band sunk around their ego and attitude.
I'm still hoping they will record another masterpiece... At least Heathen Chemistry was a step n the right direction...

What? A coked up multi-millionaire "the voice of disenfranchised Britain" - bollocks! Funny you talking about their so-called brilliance in the past tense.

I think doing those great big shows so early on in their career (second album) was probably what did for them. Too much too soon. They went the way of that other band of brothers, Bros, who played Wembley Stadium at a similar juncture in their careers, and then promptly petered out. lol

I went to Knebworth in '96... highlight of the day... Manic Street Preachers... oh yeah, John Squire guested on Champagne Supernova... says it all really!

Oasis made some good records and I'm glad I was there, but they aren't/weren't a good live band by that time...
