A Ol' Skool "Joint"

Ok this is for the true Old School. Today, I'm driving home from work and lo and behold, what did they play on the Radio?

"ANGEL DUST" BY GIL SCOTT HERON!!!!!

It tripped me out. Anyone out there remember that one?
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

And to all "new school" rappers...

A funny idea just occurred to me.
What if someone did a photo essay on the initial facial reactions of certain "new school" rappers when the names Gil Scott-Heron and The Last Poets were mentioned.

Maybe they at least checked them out after Chuck D mentioned them.

You will not be able to stay home, brother.

It was 90.9 FM KTSU in Houston.
