Are There Any Albums You're Embarrassed To Say You've Never Heard?

I've never ever heard Jeff Buckley's "Grace", except for maybe when a song comes on TV on a "very special episode" of some show on the WB or something. Everyone just goes on and on about it, though. I have no idea why I've never picked it up. redface

I have only heard one David Bowie Album...Outside. For being the music lover I am, I'm told I owe it to myself to listen to him.

I've never heard a Marvin Gaye album. I've heard a few of his songs, but that's as good as it gets.

And who's Jeff Buckley?

The ORG - the only place where you can be called a wigger, a racist and a Nazi and be banned for defending yourself. It's so hard being white nowadays...

Proud to be a NONA GAYE fan!

I've only ever heard the "Here My Dear" album by Marvin, and what they play on radio.

Any Dylan album
Joni Mitchell's Blue
Queen's A Night At The Opera

It's like I've been under a rock for 30 years.

That's what my friend Dylan (tribe) says. I need to be sat down and educated. I think it's the voice that gets me. And the glam rock sound. Though I heard/saw a video the other day and it was very cool. It wasn't one of his normal hits either...dang what was that song mad the video reminded me of Venus as a Boy sort of...sort of. It was during one of his solo years. Sort of strange..DJ maybe.

It's been done with Joni and the Beatles for me before.

I just now got a copy of The Beatle's White Album.
I have none of their others, nor any of the Stones or Hendrix (but I've heard Jimi before). I'm not really ashamed, just into different stuff.

Oh, snap! eek That's going to gets someone's briefs in a bunch.

The last Prince album I bought was SOTT. I'm not quite familiar with stuff after it. (Is this grounds for being banned from the Org?)

well this is kinda in the same category:

I'd never listened to a johnny cash album untill i heard he was dead.
Same for Rick james.

hate it when you 'discover' an artist by the news they died.
It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

Oh, "Lovesexy" came after? Actually, I have that. And my sister just lent me "Crystal Ball." I haven't listened to it yet, though. I've fallen off the wagon, but Prince will always be my first (musical) love. kisses

I've never listened to a Springsteen album, either. But, I've ALWAYS liked John (Cougar) Mellencamp.
