Something to remember is undoubtely Madonna's best ballad ever, but unfortunately it's underestimated (just as much as Rescue me, her best "dance" song).
If she was to release a vol. 2 to Something to remember I say she should put: Paradise Love tried to welcome me Sanctuary To have and not to hold Frozen The power of good-bye Be careful Times tood still Inside of me The look of love Bad girl In this life Nothing fails Spanish eyes Promise to try You must love me (full-length version) and call the album "Prayers for Spanish eyes"

I have this disc. I like Take A Bow, Crazy For You & Oh Father. Forbidden Love is cool too... She needs to be for her version of Love Don't Live Here Anymore though

Time Stood Still is her most beautiful ballad. Why this wasn't released as a single instead of American Pie, I'll never know.
Despair, regret, and tenderness Is what I feel for you I loved you from the very start What else could I do You read my mind, you made me cry Time stood still And now I know the reasons why Time stood still Chorus: Maybe you're the next best thing to happen All the things we might have been A flame becomes a fading light That burns inside my heart And like a castle in the sand It had to fall apart You made me laugh, you gave me hope It's over now Our happiness went up in smoke It's over now The lyrics look a bit shit just written down like this but with the music, they're beautiful. This song reminds me of somebody who broke my heart.
