A few keepers were: The Cure Talking Heads Pretenders Supertramp The Police The Cars Bow Wow Wow Def Leppard Go Go's I loathed Toto, Foreigner, Air Supply, Duran Duran and practically everybody else but I had crushes on Billy Squier and Cheap Trick   But you liked Def Leppard? I did at the time. I remember mustering up some sort of fandom around them and even saw them in concert with Ratt. I can't even remember now what any of their songs were. There should be three questions: 1) What bands did you hate in the 80's? 2) What bands did you like...but now see the errors of your ways? 3) What bands were around that you kind of knew about...but over time, have realized that they rule? | |
