September. First single "Chic Like You" is tipped to feature as-yet-unannounced guests when it goes to radio next month. But album track "Rifle Love" featuring former Saadiq collaborators Dwayne Wiggins (Tony Toni Tone) and Dawn Robinson (Lucy Pearl), has already leaked to some stations, including KMEL-San Francisco. The album will also include "Ray Ray's Theme" featuring Pookie artist Joi, plus "The Fence" featuring Teedra Moses. It's the follow- up to 2002's multiple-Grammy nominated "Instant Vintage," which peaked at No. X on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. "It's all about a feeling," Saadiq says. "I want this album to feel like a movie, only it will tell several stories. I always try to come with concepts --to keep myself amused more than anything. It's not about trying to be deep. I just like to have fun." Saadiq has also been plenty busy with production duties, including work on Jill Scott's upcoming album "Beautifully Human," the Isley Brothers remix album "Taken to the Next Phase" and Robinson's next solo project. -- Jonathan Cohen, N.Y. http://www.billboard.com/...splay.jsp? vnu_content_id=1000579416 [This message was edited Thu Aug 26 8:05:12 2004 by mochalox] "Pedro offers you his protection."

Have ya'll ever heard Willie Max's "Never Comin' Back?" nope. Hook me up! I've got to try and find a way I can post a CD track on the internet and I'm sure it's probably really easy.

Yeah, that's a cool cover, intentionally funny! I saw him perform live at a record store in Hollywood about 9, 10 months ago. The place was packed with women. He was cool, o.k. band though. I like his music. Least the brother can play an instrument. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

I caught him when he was on the road with Lucy Pearl and almost cried when I couldn't catch him for his Instant Vintage tour.
