Who's More Talented...Prince or Stevie Wonder?

Who do you think is more talented, Prince or Stevie Wonder? Prince is definately my favorite artist and, in my opinion, FAR more talented than anyone else out there but I have be truthful and give proper respect to Stevie Wonder. I think Stevie Wonder is the more talented of the two.

I know what you mean. It's very hard to choose. The Audience will probably have to answer this question but I thought I heard somewhere that Stevie invented some sort of instrument. Now if this is true.....that is REAL talent.

One may be better at a certain aspect of music than the other, but as all-around musical talents go neither has to take a back seat to the other.

Can't pick-I'd hope people think it out, but they compliment each other well musically that there's no real competition.

Just admiration for two of my favorite artists.

If only they'd tour together somehow.

Zelaira-style, I'm quoting myself for the first time ever.

Although I believe that post, I've changed my mind about some of it. But I shall not say who.

no no no! Ooooh no my brother. I'll not face-plant on this one.

Both these cats operate on such a high level it's almost a pointless argument.
Prince has an obvious advantage as a stage performer however and CinisterCee nailed it.

Damnit, you tricked me.

I'm not sure what instrument Stevie invented but Kurzweil, based on Stevie's desire to get acoustic instrument sounds from an electronic keyboard, developed the K250 in '84. He was also involved in a company called haRmonic Solutions that developed an electronic harmonica. Not sure if he's still affiliated or not.

Co-sign, but it's really no comparison considering that Stevie is blind and has a little less advantage over Prince. They're both equally talented.

Thanks. I remember a friend telling me something about that years ago and I just barely remember it. I knew if anyone could help me out, it would be you.

They are very different.

Stevie gets points for being able to play several instruments despite being blind. Of course, his blindness might enhance the music of his mind. He also gets my vote for better melodies. He also was an influence on Prince, so Prince might not have been the same without Stevie. Stevie is one of the all time great singers.

Prince gets points for dancing, visual style, and non-musical creativity (ie name change). He also has remained more prolific and has maintained quality in his records better than Stevie (though many would argue with that). I also believe he's a better all around instrumentalist.

They're both still great performers. There probably shouldn't be a winner. I'm sure they would find the notion ridiculous. But I'm not them.

I would have to go with Prince, who I believe has a more distinct style and has broken more boundaries with his art.

LOL!!! Let's take Prince sight away and see if he can do the same thing.

Both are great. But Stevie songwriting ability has surpassed time. Plus Stevie style is more his own. Prince has elements of too many past artist.

But really was has Stevie done in the last 25 years musically??

When is the last time that Stevie had a sold out tour??

Sorry folks it Prince by a landslide!!!
