BGZ's Disco Song Of The Day

Joe Tex had this great cut called "Bump No More With No Big Fat Woman". It was probably one of the funniest songs ever and had a killer bassline. Great vocal performance, great music, great production. Anybody here digs this song?

lol sorry, I was away for a bit....Y' know, the first time I ever heard this tune back in the day, I was ridin' in the car with my grandfather, and that song came on the radio... we heard the lyrics, looked at each other, and just fell out laughin'! lol

Yes.....I love that jam. I love to play it back to back with "Brick House". I remember Joe Tex on Soul Train back in the day with the big fat woman. THAT was entertainment.

I only play them back to back. I think the tempo of "Brick House" is too slow to mix it. Now I like to mix "Big Fat Woman" with KC & The Sunshine Band's "That's The Way I Like It". As for "Brick House", I like to mix it with Brick's "Dazz".

I think I tried it once and got it by slowing one down and speeding the other up and just barely got it. I couldn't never get it again though. Every time I try it, one of the songs is either speeded up too fast or slowed down too much to the point that it's noticeable. biggrin
