peter frampton Ok who out there remember frampton comes alive by Peter frampton. I used to listen to this album all the time back when I was in high school (God I'm gettin OLD ) Anyway alot great songs on this album: Show me the way (frist introdution to the talkbox) do you feel like we do, lines on my face, I wanna go to the sun,and baby I love your ways. This album along w/ kiss alive and Boston were some of the best music of that year(76)

Frampton Comes Alive is Pete's albatross, just as Purple Rain is Prince's. He was EVERYWHERE back in '76, you couldn't escape him or that album. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Completely derailed his career. Next stop- the HIDEOUS Sgt.Pepper film.... [This message was edited Sat Jul 31 19:09:13 2004 by MrTation] [This message was edited Sat Jul 31 19:11:31 2004 by MrTation] "...all you need ...is justa touch...of mojo hand....."

One thing he'll always have, though, is the ability to play the shit out of his axe. The hair's gone, the glasses are on - now, it' s all about the music. His latest album was pretty cool, too. I love his playing - very melodic and jazz influenced. Also, he seems like a very nice guy. My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

Completely derailed his career. Next stop- the HIDEOUS Sgt.Pepper film.... What's so strange about that record is that the same songs people went ga-ga over (Show Me The Way, Baby, I Love Your Way and Do You Feel Like We Do ), with the exception of Do You Feel Like We Do, were on FRAMPTON (realeased a little more than a year earlier). Although it went Gold, you'd have to say it tanked compared to Frampton Comes Alive! sales. Maybe it was the slightly high-looking pretty boy with the curly hairdo on the cover that did it. A possible early warning if you will that there would be a Jon Bon Jovi in our future. A warning we shamefully took no action against. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. EW&F, the Bee Gees, Frampton...who else was there? This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Yeah, I remember hearing the studio version "Do You Feel Like We Do" a looooong time ago, and not very much either. And stop traumatizing me with Bon Jovi pics. This post not for the wimp contingent. I mean, SOMEBODY should have said SOMETHING! EW&F, the Bee Gees, Frampton...who else was there? Oh, Billy Preston, Steve Martin, George Burns, Aerosmith. Maybe they figured there was safety in numbers. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. My friend, penance must be paid for the evil we've allowed to befall us lest it happen again...in spades. Too late, it already has. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Not too long ago,I bought the Deluxe Edition of 'Frampton Comes Alive' and it is superb! Contains an additional three tracks that don't appear on the regular album.
"I want you...to show me the way....I want you...to show me the way" And let's not forget his 1977 hit "I'm In You",a song that deserves a thread of it's own
